I’m not liking the jog wheel, slow response. I’ve only done some minor tests with the “high quality samples” but it may be better with the headphone microphone. Presets are ok but there is no way to edit them. I can’t see using this for much more than just goofing around but hey, it’s $1.99.
I’d be interested if (a) the samples were good quality, and (b) you could also transfer them to your Mac to use in something like Kontakt or EX24.
Matt, Kurt – I see this as the 2008 version of the CasioTone SK-1 sampler – a glorified music sampler toy – and for $1.99, that’s OK by me.
I’d like to see a more sophisticated sampler, though, too.
