Well, by looking at his fingers as he plays, there are times when he has two fingers on the screen, and there's no way he could be playing those bass notes.

Yeah, it looks as though he is using the Smule majic piano app. Anybody could do that.
I believe we just witnessed the coming of the modern age. Electronic music gets applause at a classical music event. Bravo!
Get a grip. It was an amusing musical aside…and a sardonic statement about how "anybody" with a computer can make "music" … regardless of how crappy the outcome. Undoubtedly his other two encores were stellar.
