First Musikmesse ‘Leak’ – The New Nord Keyboard

Nord has put up a teaser on its site about something new they are introducing at this year’s Musikmesse, being held March 21-24 in Frankfurt.

For those of you that can’t wait until next week, though, here is the first image of the yet-to-be-announced Anordion. It will fill the gaping hole in Nord’s lineup for an accordion style synthesizer.

This image has leaked via one of our top secret sources, who says “SSSSHHHHH… don’t tell any one :)”. We trust our readers will help keep this hush-hush.

We’re looking forward to more polka’s showing up among the Sunday Synth Jams. Until then, let us know what you think about the Anordion!

Note: There’s a striking resemblance between the Anordion and a carefully Photoshopped Roland V-Accordion. But that’s probably entirely coincidental! We’ll know for sure next week…..

  1. Truthfully, despiste what a supposed price would be for such a thing, I’m sad its just a photoshop pic….I don’t play accordian, but I do love bizzarre instruments and would be willing to learn!

  2. 🙂 Awesome 🙂
    Nord is a joke !
It would be nice to have a analog nord synth like the 2X with built in effects (reverb delay)
and some cool features but they bring us the nord drum that sounds like you hitting stuff with a stick.
and maybe (why not an anordion)
    Cool picture 🙂

  3. This is hilarious. Obviously fake, but pretty damn funny. Hopefully all this teasing will lead up to a huge announcement of something amazing. I have a funny feeling it will.

  4. Man i was sweting, today i bought a Nord Wave on ebay, after three days of bids, when i heard the news about a new Nord, i said, it is no time to repent jaja, i was thinking the new nord would be a Nord Wave 2, jaja but now im happier with my Nord, the picture looks nice.

  5. This is pure fabrication, surely?
i am not convinced of the validity of the above image or story.
The April fool’s are rising early…
