Kurzweil has introduced a pair of iPad patch editors:
- PC3K Sound Editor is a Sound Development tool created specifically for Kurzweil PC3K keyboard/synthesizer. It requires a Kurzweil PC3K keyboard.
- Artis Sound Editor is a Sound Development tool created specifically for Kurzweil Artis keyboard/synthesizer. It requires a Kurzweil Artis keyboard.
Both apps are free downloads.
no comments? hardly surprising.
I’m guessing that unlike myself the naysayers do not use Kurzweil and Soundtower.
I still think KORG could really re-invigorate their VAs with iPad app/s.
1 app with controllers for the microkorg line and R3, with bouncing balls and crazy shit like that.
Any plans at Kurzweil for making iPad APP for the PC3 LE? That would be great, even at some fee.
I’m hoping they bring out an editor for the k2000r, I love the sounds it can produce, just fiddley with the tiny screen and multiple layers of editing bliss or pain if you’re new to synthesis, as I was when I first got the beast. I thinking though I’ll have to fire up lemur or touch osc and build my own editor.
+100 for K2000 editor! She is a beautiful synth! (but if you DO make an editor for Lemur, be sure to share! mister-rz:))
Absolutely! I love my k2000, but the most modern editor available is MidiQuest. If I could edit from the iPad, it’d bring a whole new dimension to this synth.
I should do it, but I get the fear when I think about mapping out all those controls, but the thought of using the ipad instead of the tiny lcd, brings a tear to my eye. Hopefully the dev will read our enthusiasm and do something fantastic, if not, I’ll share whatever template I come up with, but be warned it will probably be a wtf is this sh*t moment.
midiquest! ug, facepalm….
