Novation has announced that their Blocs Wave app now has Ableton Link support. Users can take advantage of Blocs Wave’s real-time stretch engine, combined with a “super-fast and intuitive” browser, for real-time jamming and collaboration.

Introduced about a month ago, Blocs Wave is a music creation app designed for touchscreen beatmaking.
With support for Ableton Link in Blocs Wave, users can now play in sync with other Link-enabled apps by joining the same wireless network, and even connect to Ableton Live running on a laptop. Any user can start and stop their part while others keep playing. Any user can adjust the tempo and the other devices and apps will follow.
Pricing and availability. Novation’s Blocs Wave for iOS is available via the Apple App Store at an introductory price of $3.99 ($4.99). For current Blocs Wave users, this update is free.
