This video, via Perfect Circuit Audio, captures showcases sound design with a Koma Field Kit, a Koma Field Kit FX and a giant wrench.
They note:
“The Koma Field Kit & Field Kit FX are a fun set of tools and effects for electro-acoustic music including contact mic pre-amps, mixers, frequency shifter, delay and spring reverb, voltage controlled radio and a few other handy utilities.
We used a circuit bent hard drive from Gieskes, a giant wrench instrument and Jesse Dean scratch fader with the Field Kits.”
That was absolutely wonderful!
this is when I regret not backing it on kickstarter
One should be able to make beautiful soundscapes with these kits. Well done Koma!
You gotta have some major-league nuts to make music like that.
Dang that Koma stuff looks neat. As well as playing like a tool I could be playing with one …
that’s a spanner you spanner
