Reader Patrick Mattingly shared this analysis of the classic 70’s PBS audio logo, which was used between programs between 1971 and 1984.
It was created by Paul Alan Levi, an American classical composer who has published dozens of classical works, in addition to his compositions for television.

Yes! Same here! I’m pretty sure I read somewhere that Suzanne Ciani did the Columbia Pictures ident. Never was able to find too much info on the HB Swirling Star logo. I always wondered how that was done. Glad it’s not just me haha!
