Make Noise has introduced a new version of their René Eurorack step sequencer.
The René – named after French philosopher & mathematician René Descartes – is described as “the world’s only 3D Cartesian Music Sequencer”. It uses the Cartesian coordinate system, so you can move through step sequences not just from start to finish, but along x, y & z axes.
The updated version adds additional CV & gate outputs, updates the sequencer to add the z-axis sequencing, and more.
Pricing and Availability
The René is available for US $525. See the Make Noise site for details.
Don’t know why, but somehow the user interfaces of the Koma Komplex Sequencer and the Analog Solutions Megacity appear much more intuitive for me. Otherwise, kudos Make Noise!
