Sounds to me like a sax sound with a trumpet attack.
The piano sounds good. Actually a CS-80 would have been warmer and mellow. I think my mothers Thomas Organ had that trumpet patch.
Beautiful performance. Especially considering he’s blind – good muscle memory for performing those pitch bends and volume adjustments on the synth.
I get what folks are saying about the brass patch but otoh I think it has a real nice 70’s kinda Oberheim quality, like what we saw from some fusion artists rocking SEM based synths back in the day. It has a classic vibe to it.
