In partnership with BBC Studios and the BBC Symphony Orchestra, Spitfire Audio has introduced BBC Symphony Orchestra, a new orchestral sound library.
Here’s what they have to say about it:
Spitfire Audio has finally been able to capture what no other sample library has before: a family of astoundingly accomplished players that has shared the stage for thousands of hours, whose musical telepathy and 90-year heritage of performances and recordings is a national and international treasure.
BBC Symphony Orchestra has been expertly recorded by the Spitfire team at London’s famous Maida Vale Studios — home of the BBCSO, and host to The Beatles, Hendrix and Bowie. Our most expansive and ambitious project to date, this landmark library is the stuff of composing dreams: strings, brass, woodwind and percussion, all housed inside our award-winning standalone plugin.

Pricing and Availability
BBC Symphony Orchestra is available for preorder for US $749 through Nov 7th, 2019 ($999 after that). It’s expected to be available Oct 24th, 2019.
Spitfire is fantastic, Christian Henson’s youtube video blog is a treasure too, bravo.

You know whether or not you have the compositional skills to justify it. Its too powerful to only use for making a run at a Swedish death metal symphony. That brass blast made hair rise on my neck, whew…
