At Knobcon 2019, we talked with Paul Schreiber of Synthesis Technology, who gave us a sneak preview of his upcoming Hyperion Stereo Audio Processor for Eurorack modular systems.
The Hyperion is a stereo effects processor, using 480MHz ARM H7 and 64MB of SRAM. It builds on Synth Tech’s Deflector Shield and Resampling Mini-Delay, but adds true stereo effects processing, takes the earlier effects to the next level and also introduces some new effects.
Features:
- 4 CV parameters
- Stereo CV Mix
- Stereo CV feedback insert loop
- L/R tap tempo
- Shallow (right now, 1 page deep) menu
Pricing and Availability
Production of the Hyperion Stereo Audio Processor is being funded via a Kickstarter project, which is expected to launch Nov 15th, 2019. Synth Tech has previously completed a successful Kickstarter project for its E370 Quad Morphing VCO Eurorack module.
Schreiber expects the price to be in the $500-600 range, depending on the impact of import tariffs on his parts. Black and silver panel versions will be available.
