Native Instruments has released RAUM, described as a “do-it-all creative reverb”, as a free download.
Here’s what they have to say about it:
“RAUM can do everything from abstract echoes to spacetime-bending ambience in one swift move. It’s your space laboratory, your mix fixer, and your utility tool. It’s simple, flexible – and most importantly, it sounds out of this world.”
It’s available as a free download through Jan 16, 2020.
The catch is that you have to install their product management app to access this ::-/
If you dont have yet you miss a nice gift like this every year. And also you get another bunch of great synths for free too if you install. You got all these amazing plugins for free with automatic update etc via management app and you whine about that. Whats wrong with people today…
That ain’t no catch,..did not cost you anything or even a survey beside downloading it via the app.
Seriously? This is the hill you want to fight on? So what?
What an entitled bunch you are.
The catch is, stop relying on pirated software 😉
There was a time when a free plug-in was just something you downloaded and installed (and maybe had a code emailed to you).
Both Arturia and NI are offering free reverbs. Arturia even claims a “no nonsense” process. But with both you have to install their “software center” software. For some, that’s just not worth it.
I already have the NI software center installed and I’m not going to bother with this. Just one more dumb thing to keep track of. I guess if I didn’t already have dozens of excellent reverb options…
nice VST. It feels though as a simplified version of Replika / XT.
