Critter & Guitari has launched a Kickstarter project to fund production of the EYESY video synthesizer.
The EYESY has audio and MIDI inputs, so you can generate visuals that react to your music. And it outputs video to HDMI or Composite Video Output (NTSC or PAL), so it is easy to connect to a variety of TVs, displays and projectors.
You can tweak the video synth’s ‘Modes’ using the hardware controls, add and remove Modes using a browser-based interface, or even create your own Modes, if you can program in Python.

Finally. I have been waiting to hand over 500 for a used ETC that never shows up. This seems soooo much better..
We need more cheap/DIY video synths like this! Well done.
This thing is super cool, well done Critter and Guitari!
I’ve been running the ETC port that works on an Organelle. It’s a lot of fun but you can’t use your organelle for other things while its running. Was considering buying a second organelle but this is cooler!
At 395.00 it’s a smoking deal, in my opinion. I wanted the first version that was black and white years ago, then the oscilloscope version, then the ETC, but this is the best of all worlds in one box at a relatively low cost. It has RCA video out and HDMI and that means a lot when trying to connect.
Looks cool, but with my job shutdown…..I wont be buying anything for a while.
so awesome
