Jexus – WC Olo Garb shared this audio demo of the DSI/Sequential OB-6 synthesizer, featuring a collection of custom sounds.
“I did not use additional FX in the demo, all the delays and reverbs and flangers are part of the OB-6 engine,” notes Jexus.
The custom patches are available via Jexus.
so coooool 🙂 !! thx Jexus
Can I just say I love his videos almost as much as his demos.
If I had a financial advisor, they would disapprove of me watching this video.
Jexus has an enviable sense of how to synthesize in a big way. If you ever need an added prod to buy a synth, his demos will show you how deep the toy under consideration really goes. Excellent music, disturbed video work! 5 stars!
His videos always give me a Twin Peaks vibe. Not necessarily in the Angelo Badalamenti score sense, but just the general essence of the the show.
For the price, the OB-6 should have a five octave keyboard. I’m just sayin’.
Agreed. I also thought it felt kind of cheap when I played one in a store. Still want one though 🙂
I absolutely would have bought an OB-6 keyboard version if it had 5 octaves. I heard the REV2 had a slightly better keybed. Instead, I bought an old Virus KB for a nice master keyboard, and am liking how it feels so far.
