Orchestral Tools has released Berlin Symphonic Strings – a new addition to their Berlin Series orchestral sample libraries.
Berlin Symphonic Strings extends the sonic possibilities of the Berlin Series by capturing the sound of very large string sections. The library incorporates 68 instruments across 5 sections: First violins, second violins, violas, celli, and basses.
All instruments were recorded at Berlin’s Teldex Scoring Stage in situ, with musicians in traditional seating positions, to provide a balanced, organic sound out of the box.
The new library features three legato modes – designed for slow melodies, ostinato patterns, and fast runs. Four dynamic levels plus numerous articulations enable maximum expression.
