Composer & synthesist Steve Roach let us know that he will be premiering a live concert video this Saturday, February 6th, 2021.
It’s available to stream now, via the embed above, on Youtube or using the TVs and streaming devices with a Youtube app.
The event is a rare opportunity to see a live performance by one of the masters of ambient electronic music, and to be able to ask questions and share your feedback via live chat.
The concert is a live performance, recorded February 7, 2020 in Phoenix Arizona. The event was Roach’s last concert with an audience, before the Pandemic took hold.
Roach says that this is the best live concert hall documentation of his work to date. He notes that it’s a 3-camera broadcast-quality shoot, with amazing visuals by NoctiVision and sterling audio.
Roach will also be on hand via chat for the duration of the concert. The virtual doors open an hour before the show for chat and the launch of The Immersion Zone.
Warm Ambient Art For A Nation That Needs Love Not Hate!!
Whoo! Can’t wait!
The sound manipulation is skillful and interesting, but needs much higher level of musicality to warrant a 2-hour concert unless it is an audio visual show.
love it great performance thank you , as usual since it is not a behringer fight post only 3 comments lol
Very cool , sounds like the music Tangerine dream and Klaus Schulze where doing in the beginning of the seventies .
My wife and I really enjoyed the show.
I’d hoped to get down to Arizona for a show, before the C19 thing. Maybe next year.
