Synthesist Omri Cohen has released a new album, Meditation Spores, that showcases the possibilities of the free open-source modular synth platform VCV Rack.
Cohen is an expert on VCV Rack and has shared an extensive series of video demos on it via his Youtube channel.
Meditation Spores was performed and recorded live, using a combination of Eurorack and VCV Rack. The album also includes a track from a live performance for the Colorado Modular Synth Society.

Omri is cool I used to talk with him when he was on soundcloud. I don’t have gear to make vids so haven’t done much youtube but have watched some of his vids. Cool stuff.
His channel is the best for eurorack tutorials. He is like the DivKid and Loopop of VCV Rack. I’ve learned so much and it translates to hardware which is a great way to learn and keep money in your pocket.
Amazing! And all this with 1 cheap software! The to cost an arm and a leg for the iron is unnecessary!
