Sinevibes has introduced Cache, a new effect plugin for real-time audio manipulation, designed specifically for the KORG NTS-3 Kaoss Pad.
Cache lets you set up a custom configuration of four different algorithms – and trigger them independently via four zones on the XY pad. The plugin’s sound engine records the incoming audio into a buffer and immediately manipulates it via one of the included algorithms: looper, repeater, stutter-style robotizer, ping-pong reverser, classic granular time stretching, or tape/vinyl stopper.
Features:
- Four separate buffer-based effects with tempo sync, triggered via four zones on the XY pad
- Six algorithm options: Loop, Repeat, Ping-Pong, Robotize, Time Stretch, Stop
- Up to 4 seconds of 32-bit stereo recording
- High-quality spline interpolation and multiple fade envelopes for completely smooth operation
- Seamless, click-free effect switching via four exponential gates
Pricing and Availability:
Sinevibes Cache is available now for $29 USD.
awesome… back in the day this was a VST plugin called “Buffer Override”… one of the best plugins of all time
this seems to be about the same thing
do note that Buffer Override is still a thing! even runs on Apple Silicon, and it’s still grand.
