Acid Symphony Orchestra Opens For Kraftwerk With 10 Roland TB-303 Bassline Synthesizers, Computer-Controlled

Remember the Acid Symphony Orchestra?

This short video clip comes from Flow Festival Helsink, where the Acid Symphony Orchestra opened for Kraftwerk:

There are ten TB-303’s in this orchestra and one TR-707(?) operated by conductor Mr Jori Hulkkonen. This was very good performance, but unfortunately I only have some short clips with very bad audio quality. These guys were supporting Kraftwerk, which played excellent gig later.

Imagine ten 303’s from Kraftwerk PA system… Ahhh…

  1. It definately was Stakker. I actually shot this video and said "klassikko" to my friend when that part beginned. I was really surprised when I found my humble video was posted here while I started regular reading at this morning ๐Ÿ˜€

  2. This is an awesome concept – but it would be a lot more fun if they could bring the same expression to their performances, and the same cause and effect, of traditional orchestras.
