Create Digital Music is celebrating 5 years of digital music love and to do it, they are throwing a free digital media event:
Link love, chip love, software love, music love – Create Digital Music is celebrating five years, and it’s time to spread some of the love back to you here in New York City. Wednesday night, we’ll be celebrating five years made possible by our incredible readers with a big party at Love Nightclub in Manhattan.
We’ve got one of the best sound systems in the city. We have eclectic, handmade, heavy beats from the likes of David Last, King Britt, Ganucheau, and IJ Catling (and me, opening up the sets). And because the Honorary Official Language of CDM is Portuguese, we have the baile funk princess Zuzuka Poderosa on vocals.
It’s December 2nd, 7-11 pm. It’s free.
And if that isn’t enough to keep you from staying home and watching Glee, they are buying the drinks.
There’s even going to be a Twister contest! No word on whether they’re turning the Twister mat into a OSC control surface using PD or not – you’ll just have to show up to find out.
Congratulations to Peter Kirn and the CDM crew!
Wow, thanks for this, mate! Much appreciated! Also, Glee is available on Hulu for anyone sad about missing it. Just sayin'. 😉
