Tonehammer has introduced Ambius 1 – a new sound library focusing on “the dark, the cryptic, the unnatural and the subliminal, in the form of unearthly angelic bell tones and demonically corrupt signals ?ltering through the void.”

Description:

This collection of ambiences, drones, pads and evolving “synth” leads were each created by hand. Every sound you hear was hand-crafted using only organic ?eld and instrument recordings. No synthesizers were used in the creation of this library.

Instruments are broken into 3 main categories (Tuned, Melodic and Horror), with 288 Kontakt programs, 352 looping wav samples and 2.5 GB of total ambient content, plus a selection of custom stereo convolution reverb impulses. Each instrument includes special controls for multi-layer cross-fading, ?ltering, intensity, octave/semi-tone stepping and effect wetness control.
