Ingenious as it is, I'd worry about the long-term integrity of those sockets used as patch matrices. They're not designed to be used that way!
This is looking better and better. But good lord, what's the cost?

it's a great concept if the sockets hold up. but i have to say it doesn't sound like a $2,000 synth to my ear. maybe it's just the demo.

1600 euro? No way. That just killed my enthusiasm for this entirely.
This is actually a neat looking modular synth. It looks quite 'patchable' (350 connection points for some crazy routing). 4 aux inputs (I assume some for CV and maybe even some for audio). Midi. Even some nice reverb/delay and distortion effects built in. The only thing I don't like is the Oberheim 12dB/Oct filter (I'd like both a 12dB and 24dB). Overall though, not a deal breaker. Heck of a lot smaller than a normal sized modular with similar specs, AND a lot cheaper too.

Who says 1600? Tinysizer costs 1,299 direct from Anyware.
My only problem is the patching system: you'll need a jeweller's eyepiece to use that effectively. Bring back the SEMtex, I say!
He's brought in delay and spring reverb and CV on filter resonance which is cool skipped the speed switch on the LFO he had on the Semtex which only function was to annoy but removed the speed swich from the ENV where they were marvelous (one fast ENV and one slow does not compensate) and also the sweet sounding synk of the Semtex is gone limiting the use of the FM had he kept them buying it would have been a no brainer…
Of cause the quality of Anyware Instruments is so and so. My Semtex is impossble to use without running it through a noise-gate and Thommas at Anyware does not reply on e-mails concerning repairs of a jobb he's botched up, at least not when the customer is safely outside German borders.
