iPad Music Software: This is a demo of LiveControl – an app for the iPad, iPhone and iPod touch that lets you use TouchOSC to control Ableton Live:
LiveControl is a MIDI remote script that allows full control of Ableton Live with an iPad or iPod Touch using TouchOSC.
It provides full automapping of the majority of useful parameters within Ableton Live without needing MIDI mapping. Osculator is not required
LiveControl can also be used in combination with hardware controllers, as this video demonstrates:
I love seeing all these new controllers and apps for making the iPhone/Pad useful, but sometimes they are almost an excuse just for me to justify buying one, when really I could do better with a dedicated controller.
After all the launchpad is dedicated, robust, and cheap. Definitely need a hands on demo to decide 😛
Hands on would be nice on these things.
The wireless solutions still look a bit MacGyver'd….

I've been using this on my ipod for a several days now…the latest revision (115) is very stable. The bi-directional feedback is amazing! I have an APC40 at home, and this is like having one in my pocket for on the go. Highest kudos and thanks to ST8 for this (ongoing) development!
