Steinberg has released HALion Sonic, a VST workstation instrument and the successor to the Hypersonic 2 VSTi.
HALion Sonic Features:

That looks pretty sexy.
Played with it, it looks sexy but it feels kinda awkward to me. Can't say I was too impressed with the sounds either.
man I hope this uses the motif xs engine….
