Tonehammer has released Requiem Light, a mini-jumbo version of its Requiem Pro library.
Requiem Pro contains three full (5.1) microphone positions, updated to 5 solo singers and full effects section. Requiem Light contains one premixed microphone position, 2 solo singers and a more limited effects section, no convolution effects.
The library can sound like a real choir (check out the audio demos above) and includes both full choir (SATB), divisi groups (males/females) and two solo singers (soprano and tenor) – all recorded in 24 bit / 44.1khz with 1 microphone position (pre-mixed from Requiem Pro (5.1) mics. The library contains true (polyphonic) legato intervals from piano to forte, sustains from piano to forte, staccato with repetitions, ultra forte marcato, BPM (host-synced) based latin chants recorded at different speeds across entire interval of choir, tons of choral effects including whispers, shouts, clusters, demonic chants, sweeps, consonants without tone, claps, snaps and over +50 different types of effects.
Requiem is designed for Kontakt version 4+ and is compatible with the Free Kontakt Player from Native Instruments. This means you don’t have to purchase the full retail version of Kontakt to use this product. All you have to do is to download the free Kontakt Player and you will be in business. Requiem Light is a downloadable product and the library is custom water marked for each customer.
Requiem Light is available now for $299.
Dear Sirs, I'm a chorus manager and I've got in use Harmony Assistant – http://www.myriad-online.com/en/index.htm – in order to do some mp3 for my chorus-singers so they can study at home.
I'd like to use Requiem Light because its timbre quality is higher but the document tonehammer-requiem-pro readme.pdf explains just its timbre, phonetic and expressive services.
I can't understand if, for example, the peak of chorus parts is 4 (SATB) or if the programme can take some more.
It doesn't explain which musical writing system is allowed with (for ex. I've got all my musical collection written with Finale) etc.
I don't wish to bother you more, is it possible to download somewhere the pdf manual? I couldn't find it.
Thank you very much. Best wishes
