Off Topic: Space themes have been linked with popular electronic music for over 50 years. In the last decade, though, it seems that space exploration has lost much of its popularity as an inspiration for art and the imagination.
Here’s a holiday reminder that there are people living in space right now, celebrating the holidays and dreaming of a better 2011:
Aboard the International Space Station, Expedition 26 Commander Scott Kelly of NASA and Flight Engineers Cady Coleman of NASA and Paolo Nespoli of the European Space Agency offered Christmas and New Year’s greetings to all people on Earth from the orbital outpost on Dec. 21, as they flew 224 statute miles above.
