Image Line has announced FL Studio Mobile – a new FL Studio, designed for creating multi-track projects on your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch:
FL Studio mobile will allow you to create complete multi-track projects on your i.Pod, i.Phone or i.Pad and, if you want, load mobile projects into FL Studio and take them to the next level.
If it’s a beat on the Stepsequencer, a melody on the Piano roll or a full song on the Playlist, FL Studio mobile has you covered.
Never lose that idea again. Get it down and happening wherever you are.
Here’s a teaser of the early development screenshots, more to come…

FL Studio Mobile is being developed by a third party. It will be interesting to see how it compares to FL Studio and how well it works with the full version.
Looks like the Beatmaker 2 party might be over before it got started?
Maybe I spoke too fast, no mention of audio recording or sampling, no compression, wave editor, etc…
BM2 party def not over. Im excited about this though. If its really FL friendly then FL users can utilize it to move ideas back and forth more effectively than with BM2…who knows, we'll see.
seeems alright , beatmaker 2 's list of features was stunning, still havent used it though.
hopefully this will bring other daws into the mix, im sure any lacking features would come up in an update, getting the ball rolling is the hard part
And screenshots don't tell you much….
Excellent news… If we can also have FLS for Mac please 😉
Where's the guy that's always crying about FL Studio being 32bit today?
Wait a minute… IL is putting it on a phone, but not mac?!?!?!?!
3rd party
Looks a lot like the existing app called MusicStudio with th key difference being that MusicStudio is introducing audio recording in March.
IMAGE LINE WILL FL STUDIO MOBILE BE VST COMPATIABLE? EX: REFX NEXUS 2, TONE2 FIREIRD, ETC…
OR WILL THE SOUND COME FROM SOUNDFONTS?
It's being developed by Xewton, which explains why it has many of the same specifications.
Anybody have an idea when this app will be available?
