Lithium Sound has released Acidlab – a free bassline synth for Windows that is designed to be “a recreation of the classic acid sound but with the addtion of a few extras.”
Key additions include a track Knob, high and low pass filter, and on-board distoration.

Audio Realism Bass Line is the worth the $. The way the 303 sequencer works (with slides & accents) is half of the acid sound.
Downloaded purely to find out what "distoration" is.
Also worth mentioning (and buying for that matter) is the D16 Group's excellent plug-in called Phoscyon. These two are at least among the best when it comes to emulating the legendary acid machine, the TB-303.
