Core Synth HD includes open source code from MobileSynth, developed by Allen Porter.
The full version is available as an In-App purchase. I didn't buy it.
No Midi support whatsoever (neither in nor out). The knobs respond to circular motion, which is something that I don't like at all. Osc 2 can by synchronized to Osc 1, but this is not very useful as long as you can't modulate the pitch of Osc 2. There is some ugly noise whenever one of the envelopes reaches zero. The filter does not self-oscillate at maximum resonance. "Zap" sound is still possible. No envelope amount setting for the filter (seems to be always at maximum always).
It's free alright, but unfortunately, that's about all that is to be said about this app.
No MIDI means no download.
