Fostex has announced a new audio interface for the iPhone 4, the AR-4i, designed to improve the quality of recordings made with the iPhone.

Looks very interesting wish there were more pics..
Not a bad idea, but I find there's nothing wrong with the iPhone's built-in mic for my purposes. There's also plenty of cheap portable recorders out there. My biggest problem with these products that dock your iPhone/ iPad is that they seem to forget we often have protective covers on them we don't want to fiddle with.
Now add two legs, teach it to walk and let it smile when you caress it. Perfect.
Was thinking that it needs a head, too….
