Casio today announce the launch of their Turn Up Your Noise Competition – their search for the UK and Ireland’s best up and coming synth player.
The winner of this competition will not only win an XW-P1 state-of-the-art synthesiser, but will also a slot performing with G-Shock at Boardmasters Festival in Newquay, Cornwall later this year.
The competition is part of Casio’s drive to support new talent, which kicked off with the launch of the ‘Synth Sessions’ last week in London, with electric performances from the likes of Bright Light Bright Light, DEMS, Engine Earz Experiment and Artful.
This series of live events will continue throughout the year, providing a platform for up and coming talent alongside more established counterparts.
The Synth Sessions mark Casio’s re-entry into the professional synthesiser market with its new XW range, created for performing and recording artists.
There are two models; the XW-P1 is designed to meet the needs of performing musicians, while the XW-G1 groove synthesiser is designed for the DJ and club performer.
