Nice cover!!
great song!
Less vocal effects, please. This is so close to the original that adding them seems almost like blasphemy.
Very nicely Done Andy.
It’s crap. Listen to the real thing instead.
Thanks to everyone that left a positive comment. Much appreciated!
Shame the negative ones weren’t constructive, as I’m always happy to listen to constructive criticism.
Planning a cover of Pocket Calculator next. Cheers
Hi Andy, this is brilliant! What equipment / plugins did you use on this and other tracks on your album?
Thanks Paul! 🙂 I used a Moog Voyager XL for the reso sweeps , bass and ‘computer’ bleeps/fm noises. An Alesis Andromeda going through a Nord Modular vocoder for the slappy slap noise (dont know what else to call that!), and for some bleeps, GForcemedia’s Virtual String machine for the chords, Arturia Prophet 5 for the lead, drum sounds from the Andromeda and Sequential Pro One and MicroTonic. A right mixed bag of old, new, analogue, and digital 🙂
