AfroDJMac let us know about a couple of new free Ableton Live packs he’s created, Ocarina of Live and OP-1 Drums.
Here’s what he has to say about Ocarina of Live:
Ocarina of Live was created with samples of an Ocarina. It’s an official Legend of Zelda Ocarina, with the triforce printed right on it. It’s a pretty diverse sound that ranges from traditional ocarina sounds to some more strange and unusual synth tones.
Here’s a video overview of Ocarina of Live:
Ocarina of Live is a free download at the AfroDJMac site.
The second Pack is OP-1 Drums. Here’s what he has to say about it:
The second one is a drum kit made from the OP-1. I used the synthesizer engine, the amp envelop, and the Nitro filter to get these sounds. This pack also comes with an effect rack that will help you add fills and variations.
Here’s a video overview of the Live Pack:

Still waiting for Bitwig Studio.
They announced at NAMM that they are aiming for a late summer release. So, if you’re really interested in Bitwig, you might want to keep that in mind.
