Akai Professional has announced the release of a new version (v1.4) of its MPC Software for the MPC Renaissance and MPC Studio controllers.

The new software update includes the “most-requested” enhancements from MPC users, including 64-bit support in all versions: standalone, VST, and AU.

In addition to 64-bit support, MPC Software includes updates made to optimize workflow, including the ability to export return buses, load samples when playing, and select multiple files in the file browser.

Users will also be able to alphabetically sort their sample list and take advantage of a new auto-save capability, as well as zooming and scrolling in the updated LCD sample editor.
