that was nice !
Probably an obvious point, but this demo needs to be heard on good speakers. On my iphone, it sounded like mouse playing a tiny drum kit. Thru stereo speakers… ooohhhhh yeah! Bass in the face. Nice!
i had been focusing on the other two Volcas, but this demo showed me
all the Beats is sweet. : )
This is the most informative demo I’ve seen of Beats IMHO. One thing I noticed is I’m not hearing any hiss or noise like most of the other demos. The only thing I’m not sold on is the snare. “Snappy” sounds a little ragged. The potential might be there but I haven’t heard “it” yet. Overall though, this sounds pretty good through decent headphones and a decent sound system. Thanks for the demo.
I really can’t wait for mine to arrive.
That was a great video. I’m digging how smooth this little thing sounds. Can’t wait to get mine so I can stop using 606/808 samples. One thing I’m curious about: Is there away to sequence patterns?
Man, PCM speed control is rad! Claps go from high-pitched digital noise squeak to normal claps down to weird digi-thunder. Love it!
Sounds good. Thinking about pairing it with my new MS 20 mini.

I really like the Volca beats but I do agree that the snare is a bit weak. Too high in pitch even on its lowest setting and the snappy is not tight enough. There is a sweet spot where things sort of line up and it sounds OK. My trick to getting a good snare sound is to layer a clap on top of the snare and move the PCM counterclockwise to get more snap.
