This is awesome! … It is people like that who add colours and new textures to music. I love what this artist designs. …. and not to mention Hans Zimmer who is also one of my favorite film composers! nice video. thx for sharing this with us.
That was a nice glimpse into the sound-design world.
Chas seems to pursue somewhat half-baked or harebrained ideas (e.g., “14 tone scale sort of” and “a different 14 tone scale which is close enough” or whatever he said)- but he gets an interesting and usable result. Bowed rods, and vibrating plates do create such powerful and complex sounds.
