  1. Great update to a great app!

Thanks to the developer for maintaining support for older devices. I’ve got an iPad 1, and not many developers are supporting it. Can’t wait to download this and check it out!

    1. Second on that. I was thinking of abandoning the IPAD altogether since nothing seems to get updated and all the apps that became decent musical instruments were beta tested by us Ipad one users but we were left in the cold before the apps were finished. Thanks to the Samplr people, i now have the first app I would trust to use live after years of owning the Ipad one.

  2. Samplr is massive. There are many things to discover beneath the surface. It is more than a sampler. It is an original way of interacting with audio. And it’s growing! Connectivity too. It gets better and better.

    1. I was unable to find a manual anywhere. Does Samplr allow the beat to be divided by 3? (i.e. triplets, 6/8, etc?) or is it strictly binary?

  3. Samplr is the best most creative tool on the iPad bar none. I love a lot of audio apps that all have their strengths and weaknesses but none of them come close to Samplr in my opinion. The new arpeggiator module just about blew my mind when i first tried it on the stuff i had already created with Samplr. Seriously, i love this app!!

  4. I cannot wait to install this update…
    BUT!
Has anyone done the update, and how does it affect old song saves?
I see there is new modes and old ones have moved, does any of this affect save files?

Dropbox, midisync, overdub are fnn fantastic additions ๐Ÿ˜€

  5. has there been a file structure implemented so that my samples can be organized into folders now, instead of the total mess that is my sample browser?

  6. THIS…this is truly awesome , I’ve said it before, but if Elektron put this in a case and stuck a badge on it you would be looking at ยฃ1500 of hardware…this easily justifies picking up an iPad2 , IO Dock and this and running it standalone as hardware…tonight I will be ๐Ÿ™‚

  7. Fumbled with this Yesterday. Could not for the life of me find the midi sync input. Some tips from the creator would be in order.

  8. Have had my eyes on this for a while and since it supports ipad 1, i will get this now and if it just to support the developer and his innovative app. Watched a couple of vids and am quite impressed.

  9. You dont need the midi options and there are none as far as I am aware – it syncs automatically to incoming clock. Works like a charm. Best audio app ever. Thanks so much for it!!!

  10. I have been having fun with this app but for the life of me cannot figure out how to edit a sample, like getting rid of the empty space at the beginning of the recording because I I apparently don’t understand how to use it well!

  11. Samplr doesn’t have audio editing yet, but hopefully it will in the future because a sampler without sample editing is awful, the best thing you can do right now is put it in slice mode and put a marker where you want a sample to start, also write an email to the developer and tell him you need audio editing.
