Moog is currently offering its iOS app at significantly reduced prices:
- Animoog for iPhone – $1.99 (regular price $9.99)
- Animoog for iPad – $4.99 (regular price $29.99)
- Filtatron for iPad/iPhone – $.99 (regular price $7.99)
If you’ve used Animoog or Filtatron, let us know what you think of them!
how long do these prices last?
It’s not clear – all Moog says is “in celebration of the Thanksgiving holiday all Moog iOS applications are available at reduced prices.”
Animoog for five bucks? Filtatron for 99 cents? It’s a hardship, but I think I can spare six dollars somehow.
Haha seriously though, I jumped on this and you should too. Now if I could just figure out how to patch this thing I’d be set.
I have them already… totally worth the money if you get them this cheap!
Filtatron is one of my favorite things of all time. I’ve used it extensively live and on recordings since it came out. I don’t use Animoog as much as some other IOS synths, but it has such a warm character that sometime it’s just the right thing for a track.
I’ve got Animoog. It’s surprisingly organic and the sound rocks. Love it 🙂
Animoog is among the best of the best when it comes to ipad apps.
It belongs on every ipad for this price. Even if you are not into synthesizers. It is that good.
I hope I am within the rules in mentioning that iSEM. is on sale now as well in the iTunes Store. I just purchased it, have yet to try.
Happy Thanksgiving.
Animoog is my favorite iPad synth, it works extremely well with the Eigenharp and Moog is currently improving its MIDI handling to be even more robust with large amounts of data. Here’s a demo of Animoog played live with my Eigenharp Alpha: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tTM5WjOYAro
Definitely get it if you have an iPad!
