At the 2008 Winter NAMM Show, Alesis introduced TransActive Mobile, a mobile, battery-powered PA system with universal dock for iPod.
The system comes with four inputs for connecting microphones, electric or bass guitars, keyboards or CD/MP3 players. An iPod dock is included .
Features:
- High-output powered, mountable 2-way speaker system
- Built-in, rechargeable battery with level indicator; power lasts up to 12 hours
- High-fidelity sound output to more than 150 feet
- Enhanced bass output creates a full, rich sound
- Professional quality microphone included
- Heavy-duty aluminum construction
- Two-wheel system with retractable handle for easy portability
TransActive Mobile is available now for an MSRP of $599.
This applies to all of the recent iPod/Alesis posts, but does anyone else here feel like Alesis have sold out? Like they’ve jumped on the bandwagon (a little late I might add)? Seriously, and iPod amp? Mixer? WTF?
