At Musikmesse 2014: Today Korg introduced the newest in its series of professional arranger keyboards, the Pa300.
With 61 keys, the portable Pa300 comes loaded with a broad collection of over 310 styles and more than 950 sounds, many of which have been “distilled” from the Pa600 and Pa900.
The user selects sounds via a color TouchView display, a first in this instrument price range. The Pa300 offers an easy-to-navigate layout and intuitive graphical interface with an additional search function for retrieval of any musical resource or file.
Korg’s Enhanced RX (Real eXperience) sound engine is complemented by an onboard amplification system. This custom-designed amplification system consists of 2 x 13 Watt amplifiers that drive two loudspeakers in a bass-reflex box to generate a rich, powerful listening experience.
The Korg Pa300 personal arranger will be available for sale beginning April 2014, with a US “street” price of $849.99. Additional information is at the Korg website.
Not analog? What’s the point. Korg is so over. I hear Bosendorfer are coming out with Eurorack.
what?? they’re practically leading this whole analog resurgence thing!
The volcas, the MS20 mini, and soon the ARP reissue, I mean these guys are killing it. So what if they still have to cater to other demographics
Well played sir, well played!
Not everyone loves to play analog. I love to listen to vinyl and still love acoustic guitar and piano, but I love my perfect digital realm too. 🙂
