First time seeing it. Thank you
Smart.
Beautiful. This is what the TR8 should have been ????
I’m now the owner of the exact machine from this video. It’s a weird one! Maybe the coolest looking drum machine I own, and I own a lot of drum machines! You can see it in my studio here: http://www.attackmagazine.com/features/my-studio/solvent/ — PS I’ve heard there’s a Dutch company that makes a Midi retrofit for it – if anyone has any leads on that I’d love to know!
Jason. pretty cool this. Here in Holland I can tell you that I never even heard of a company making retro-fits midi based.
nice studio Jason !!! also a Soft cell fan….I have many of their records (33, 45, maxi) but don’t recognize the cover of this “non stoc erotic cabaret” !!?? american version ?
it’s not the album cover – it’s an album promo poster
That is pretty amazing that you have Richard D. Jame’s CS-5, definitely a piece of Electronic Music history belonging to a museum if there if they ever build one.
Yes, I know who’s doing the midi retrofit.
adress from the companywho´s doing the midi retrofit? greets

Pretty impressive. Not as aerodynamic maybe, but nice digital sounds. Just as the Linn and Aira TR8 have nice digital sounds too.
wow… I almost like it better than a linndrum! that snare is so tight and fat!
better than Linndrum.
I think Falco from Austria did his early songs with it.
I agree einzelhaft sounds exactly like this !!
Great Drum Machine. I have one with a custom made midi-kit for the Bohm.
Indeed built and designed in Holland by Mark Cox.
Check his site for contact info: http://cox-electronics.com
Who also makes modifications for other well known artists with older analog equipment.
