Sunday Synth Jam: This video, via millolab, captures an ‘afternoon improvisation’, the rowboat.
Technical details below:
Gear used: Waldorf Blofeld, Arturia Microbrute, Elektron Machinedrum, Akai mpc500 as main sequencer, Korg Ms2000, Clavia Nord Modular G2 and DSI Tetr4. Hardwire DL7 and RV8 were used on the Tetra.
Love it. Very good stuff.
Really nice idea about a theme going around that rowboat sample. Also a demonstration of how you can get some sweet leads off a Microbrute and not only aggressive basses, I love the versatility of this machine.
Very nice.
Very cool! Love the them and motion through this piece.
Very nice soft piece. Love how you wove the piece around the rowboat. Very nice!!
Creating atmosphere this good is almost a separate art form. When the imagery hits the cinematic point, you’ve earned your proverbial Moog stripes.
Impressive sound space and pleasantly melodic and lyrical. Reminds me of some of Aaron Copland’s works.
