Alessandro Alcinesio has released Rumore Cinematic Impacts, a free collection of “cinematic impact” sound effects for use in film scoring and electronic music production. In Italian, rumore means “noise,” and Cinematic Impacts is the first in what will most likely become a Rumore series of sample libraries by Alcinesio, aka HAL9K.
The library contains 50 cinematic impacts with long release tails, ranging from classic sonic booms to eerie horror noises and weird sound effects.
Technical Details. The library contains 50 audio samples in 24-bit WAV format, 44.1kHz Stereo. The download size is 185 MB (RAR archive), occupying 224 MB of hard drive space when extracted. All included sounds have been edited, normalized and trimmed by Johan Ekelove, who is also the author of this free sample collection.
Pricing and Availability. The Rumore Cinematic Impacts sample library is free and available via 99 Sounds, where you can find more information and a link to an interview with Alessandro Alcinesio.
