Elektron has released the SID Redux Sound Pack for the Analog Rytm.
Here’s what they have to say about it:
The spirit of the Sidstation lives on – and it has found a comfortable home in the Analog Rytm. We have programmed and sampled our first-born machine and are proud to present a collection of gnarly, home computerish, and totally wonderful percussive sounds. This Sound pack will give your beats a lovely digital edge of the rusty kind.
The sound pack is specifically made for the Analog Rytm. Included is an Analog Rytm project featuring 16 patterns and 16 kits. The kits also feature performances and scenes, great for live tweaking the patterns.
Features:
- Sound pack size: 24.4 MB. 16 bit/48 kHz/mono WAV samples.
- 1 project. 16 patterns. 16 kits.
- Scene and performance macros for each kit.
- 17 kicks. 14 snares. 3 toms. 5 hihats. 1 cymbal. 2 cowbells. 1 clap. 1 shaker. 8 synth tones.
- 12 SFX.
The SID Redux SoundPack is available from Elektron for US $15.
it seems to me that Elektrons marketing strategy is all about the fetishisation of technology, this is digital synth p*rnography.
If I got this soundpack for free I would buy a rytm!
Or you could man up and get a job….
Great, another sound pack for an instrument that is currently unavailable to purchase….
Well…IMO all the sound packs for Analog Rytm should be free for the owners. It is a very expensive product and free updates fits like a charm 🙂
