Roland has released a series of new videos that offer quick introductions to getting started with their new Aira line of electronic music gear.
The videos cover the Roland Aira TR-8, TB-3, System-1 & VT-3. They are embedded in the playlist above, use the left/right buttons to select a specific video.
For more info, see our previous Roland Aira posts and the Roland site.
If you’ve used any of the Roland Aira line, leave a comment with your thoughts!
Great gear and it looks like Roland are maintaining this line, this is good to see.
Love my TR-8, but when are Roland releasing the 707 sounds?
It amazes me that none of the analog drum machines out lately have song mode/pattern chaining. I have barely enough hands for my synths let alone adding a drum machine. Even my TR-606 has song mode.
Ok. I have had the System 1 for just over a month, and I am loving it more every time I use it.
I’m glad they came out with these videos, as I didn’t even realize it was possible to chose different scatter types and you can “hold” the scatter.
And this demo for the TB-3 makes me want it more than a used 303.
Crap, sorry can’t get it 🙁
So many emulations available on Mac, PC and iPad 🙂
Seriously, crap?
Do you even know any electronic theory or how to program?
Analogue vs quality analogue emulation is indistinguishable to a blind folded human being. Go and learn some basic electronic/physics theory and stop listing with your EYES!
Those rings are a bit like a mechanic wearing spark plugs as earrings.
Or a synth enthusiast wearing a moog tshirt. What a stupid thing to say.
