2015 NAMM Show: Korg has introduced the Kaossilator 2S – a redesigned portable version of its portable synth
Korg’s Kaossilator 2S offers unlimited undo/redo functionality and the ability to export multi-track audio data for immediate use in Ableton Live (via a generated .als file).
Audio files can also be manually imported into a different DAW of choice.
Ableton Live’s Session and Arrangement workflows allow users to arrange, edit and refine ideas; perform or record new parts, and arrange and mix songs. Recording has been simplified by merely requiring users to push the “REC” button.
Other features include 150 sound programs, battery operation and built in speakers.
“There are no other synthesizers that have an ‘X-Y touchpad’ for simple and intuitive operation,” said James Sajeva, Product Manager for Korg.
“Few other hardware products work with Ableton Live the way kaossilator 2S does,” notes Korg’s J ames Sajeva, “making it a great tool for serious music production.”
Pricing and availability for the Korg Kaossilator 2S are to be announced.
Still no sync
That actually is a good feature, undo will mean a lot less inhibition.
