This video, via Darren Glen, documents his Korg Volca Bass mod to add separate level control for each of the 3 oscillators, as well as a variable drive/distortion control. 

Note: This is an unofficial mod, not supported by Korg, and could fry your Volca Bass. Glen says you ‘do this at your own risk’.
