Nice interview, any chance to get more machines like MS404 i.e. small & interesting architectures ?
Dieter seems like such a great guy. Very modest. And he sells his modules at very reasonable prices.
I hope he finished up the drum programmer soon. I’d like to compare a A157 to a Circadian Rhythm before I buy one.
Doepfer seems like such a cool guy. I know that for me, the new Martin Gore “MG” album helped me see you can make beautiful music with eurorack. It is so exciting to think of creating your own unique synth
He’s the guy that started the eurorack-mania. I know him personally and he is always helpful and nice.
Thank you Dieter!!
Interesting to see the wide range of different personalities in the Meet The Makers series. Doepfer is definitely the most “engineer-like” of the people interviewed so far, unsurprisingly he gave the most conservative answer to Nick’s usual question about extending/updating the Eurorack standard.
I’d rather pay more and get a 5U system.
