Sunday Synth Jam: This video, via reader Miguel Fernandes, is an affectionate cover of Jean-Michel Jarre‘s 4th Rendez-Vous.
“The theme that caused my passion for synthesizers and electronic music was 4th Rendez-Vous by Jean Michel Jarre, back in 1986, when i was 5 years old,” notes Fernandes. “The first reaction that i had, hearing the main lead sound, was ‘Wow, what instrument is this?'”
“I never heard such an amazing powerful sound like that one,” adds Fernandes. “Today, I have severals synths and 4th Rendez-Vous is a theme that i had to cover!”
