Yamaha Synthesizers Europe has released DX-7 Blaze – a sound library based on the Yamaha DX-7 – as a free download.
Here’s what they have to say about the free sound library:
Depeche Mode, Underworld, Brian Eno, Phil Collins, Front 242, Queen, Beastie Boys, Herbie Hancock & many more adored their DX7 keyboards.
And now it’s up to you! Get your own DX7 pianos, bells & basses for free and ready to play with the included Beat workstation Zampler//RX or other SFZ-compatible samplers.
It’s a free download via the Yamaha Synthesizer Europe Facebook page.

for those who don’t want the reface?
Get a copy of (payware) VST: NI – FM8 or FM7
– or one of the many freeware VST’s: DEXED, Oxe FM etc.
This sounds like a sample library not DX-7 patches.
“ready to play with the included Beat workstation Zampler//RX or other SFZ-compatible samplers.”
What is this useless file format?
Facebook is dead, post this on your real website for goodness sake!
What is a face book?
Umm… Tried it. I had better sounds coming out of a casio keyboard I bought at kmart in the 80’s. colossal waste of time.
